Creative Therapy Training

Creative Therapies for use with Children, Adolescents and Adults


January 18th 19th, February 22nd-23rd, and March 15th -16th 2014 Three weekends, 10am to 4.0Opm (30 hours)

This BACP endorsed training aims to expand your therapeutic repertoire and using integrative, experiential models to prepare you for working creatively with clients of any age.
The aim of the course is to prepare practitioners f or the therapeutic use of creative materials and skills with adults, groups, young people, f amilies and children.

The Course will include:


Sand tray Work Creative Art work Symbolic work Sensory experience

Children (including Special needs) Young people Adults Families and Groups

For working with:

Requirements: P articipants will need to hold a counselling or other prof essional


q ualif ication. A Certif icate in Creative Therapy will be awarded, based on continual assessment and two short written assignments of 1 0 0 0 words. A M inimum of 8 5 % attendance is req uired.

Trainers: Lisa Britton is a B ACP Accredited counsellor and q ualif ied P lay Therapist
with expertise in working with childhood sexual abuse. Martin Chester is a Child and Family P ractitioner whose specialisms include working with autistic spectrum challenges.
