Roles Within The Group Director: We chose Minoli De Silva to be director of our group because she wanted to have

a say in how the camera was handled and how the actors should perform their role. She also knew how to write a script due to doing Film Studies GCSE so we let her write the script for our production too, meaning she had the vision clear in her head and this allowed her to direct each member of the team. She is also close to both of her team members so she could easily tell them when they needed work due in or if work needed to be redone before the deadline; she is a good timekeeper.

Editor: We assigned the role of editor to Penny Ives because she was interested in music and wanted to learn how to edit so she could edit in the future. She also wanted to act in our production as she enjoys theatre dramas and this meant she wasnt able to be the director or cinematographer. She could follow the storyboard easily so could edit the clips together to make a strong narrative. She also takes English A Level so understands how important the narrative is. Cinematographer: We chose Alice Lupton to be cinematographer because she has an interest in photography and has it in a GCSE and is taking the A Level. She also was the cinematographer in her GCSE production so knew how to use the

cameras and specific media work well. She also wants to go into the media work area in the future and work with cameras so it was appropriate for her to take this role.
