Molly continues to improve with each lesson and is providing lessons that are effective and developmentally appropriate for first graders. Some of the strategies she is incorporating in her lessons are introducing lessons by activating prior knowledge, checking to make sure students are following along with her instruction, monitoring progress as students work independently and being very positive and encouraging to the students in her class.

Molly continues to improve on class discipline. She is learning now to be firm, consistent and give clear expectations. She accepts suggestions and tries to implement new strategies when needed. She provides positive reinforcement and disciplines in a loving and respectful way.

Molly loves teaching and it is very evident. She has started to build an academic and personal relationship with the students. She works hard to prepare and implement her lessons, she is taking responsibility for managing and planning the student learning, she listens to suggestions and implements them in her teaching.

At this time Molly has not had any opportunities to develop assessments or evaluations, but she has successfully implemented weekly assessments and does daily evaluations on students during instruction.

Molly maintains a professional manner at all times. She focuses on the needs of students, treats school members with respect, attends professional development opportunities and submits lesson plans on time. She understands the feelings of her students and admits mistakes and corrects them immediately. She enjoys teaching and treats students equally and fairly.
