 It comprises of making the robot
follow a color contrasting strip(ie
black on white and white on
black). This was done using a
comparator circuit using the IR
led’s whose transmitted light is
being used in generation of signals
in photodiode
 This is based on the phenomenon
that the status of signals
generated by photodiode change
 The comparator circuits were
used for the signal generated
from photodiodes. The intensity
of light from the IR led should be
adequate for the current
generation
 the two ends of IR-receiver were
connected to ground and
positive terminal of the
comparator .
 The output of these two were
 The robot can be used as a guider
to guide the visitors from the
entrance .
 It can help doctors to carry the
medicines .
 It can rescue the people by
extinguishing fire in case of rescue
missions.
 It can work in hazardous
environments.
 In the present condition it can
follow a single path way and not a
crisscross one.
 the robot could not be run through
the batteries because at some
conditions the current
requirement for the circuit rises to
about .8A which is very high and
can not be obtained using
batteries.
