The Publication Plan Title: DISTORTED Price: 2.

99 Target Audience: Males and Females Aged 16-25 Positioning Statement: "Where Music Lives" Frequency of Publication: Monthly Distribution: WHSmiths, Asda, Tesco, Sainsburys, Morrisons and HMV Issue Size: 70 Pages Genre of Music: Indie/Rock Music Colours: Blue, Purple, Red and Black Rationale: The magazine genre I have chosen is purposely 2 kinds of genres to add more variety and when carrying out my audience research more of my target audience preferred Indie music to Rock however to make it more appealing to a wider range of people I am going to make it an Indie music magazine and add elements of rock into the magazine. Its going to be a monthly magazine as more people read monthly magazines than weekly as monthly magazine contain more news and contents/ information, this has resulted in the magazine issue size to be 70 pages as when carrying out market research most monthly magazines issue sizes ranged from 70-100 pages. With the decisions I have made above I believe my magazine will be more appealing due to my results on audience research and researching the market place.
