Dear Mr. Beck My name is LaMarr Boehm and I am writing to you about the Electrical Engineering job available for the Corp of Engineers at Garrison Dam. I am currently going to NDSU for a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and I would really like to have a job that I like going to every day. I have a feeling this is the job for me. I have taken a special interest through my schooling on generators and dealing with the structures of how one works. I am on my way to my Electrical Engineering degree, which I will obtain in 2015. For the past 7 years I have been working with my dad in construction. I have done all kinds of work such as manual labor, equipment operating, and gauge monitor. We spray foam insulation and through that I have acquired the skill to read and monitor gauges and act accordingly. Through all of the construction work I have been adapted to learning quickly on the job. If there was anything that needed to get done I was expected to get it learned and learned well. Working with family I have also developed a patients and tolerance when needed. I have been placed in charge of heading some of the projects that we have done to make sure that the get done in a timely matter. I would defiantly like to be placed in a good working environment where I can enjoy my career choice.
