The CCCNJ Weekly Prayer Requests

Scripture: 40 Keep his decrees and commands, which I am giving you today, so that it may
go well with you and your children after you and that you may live long in the land the
LORD your God gives you for all time.” (Deuteronomy 4:40)

Weekly Theme: “Ministry of Youth”

1. Pray for the youth ministry led by pastors Manny Low and Chris Chu, and children
ministry led by Sharon Huwang.
2. Pray that the Holy Spirit will lead our church members to build up a family altar to praise
and worship God together as a family; Pray that the parents’ serving God at church can
set up good examples for their children, and bring a blessing to their children.
3. Pray God to lead the youth away from temptation and evildoing; Pray God to draw the
youth closer to Him; Pray for our younger generation to honor and obey parents in the
Lord.
4. Pray for the Mission organizations﹕ Village Gospel Mission; Missionaries﹕ Rev.
Andy Pigott, and Seminary student﹕ Joy Huang; Also pray for the peace and safety of
those brothers and sisters who are on oversea short-term mission.

--- Mission:
1. Pray that everyone will see God through the sharing by the people who went to mission trips this
summer.

---English and Youth Ministry:

1. The English Adult Ministry will be starting a Weekly Friday Night Fellowship starting Sept. 4th,
called FEAST (Friday English Adult Sharing Time). Please pray for the leader/organizer Paul
Shen and that many adults currently not involved in any regular fellowship will come to attend.
2. Pray that the college teachers, helpers and kids who help in VBS will know God more.
3. Pray for summer’s Sunday School teachers and youth sponsors.

1. Pray for Summer quarter's Sunday school teachers and helpers.
