Eidgah

In every year, two Bids are celebrated in our village.

()ne is Eid-ul-Fitor and another is Eid-ul-Azha. For prayers,
ftst «lfsf I here is a Eidgah field, jointly owned by Gazirpara and Vanghi.
The Fidgah field is situated, adjacent to Syed Kutub Jalal Model
high school and Government primary school. There is a
<i»f>in><i CTT? committee for maintaining the Eidgah and Md. Rafique Uddin
(liachu Miah) is the present Motwalli of this committee.
For maintaining the two large Jamat of prayers, there are
;i set of mike and battery. In context of maintaining the duty of
Imam, there is a combined decision of two villages. During the
I id-ul-Fitor prayer, the respected Imam and Khotib of Vangi
Mukam Mosque are appointed Imam and during the Eid-ul-
\/ha prayer, the respected Imam and Khotib of Gazirpara Jame
Mosque are appointed. Apart this, the two villages have taken
decision jointly that the Jamat of prayer of holy Eid-ul-Fitor
u i l l be held in 9.00 A.M. and the Jamat of prayer of holy Eid-
nl A/ha will be held in 8.30 A.M.
People of two villages perform their prayers in their
n'.pcctive Mosques at the time of rain fall, storms and natural
i .ihmities.
