CTI§ ^rft ^ Although there is no specific play ground in our village,
but in the afternoon, the young boys go for playing volleyball
in front of Madrasha after Asor prayer. In winter season (after
harvesting), the young boys play cricket in the open field by
cutting the divider (Ail) of plain fields.
There is a sporting club named "Sunflower sporting
club" in our village. They arrange foot ball, cricket and
badminton tournaments every year. The politician, V.I.P or
businessman attend at the inaugural ceremony or prize giving
ceremony of those tournaments.
The present chairman/ president of three years- long
"Sunflower sporting club" is Gazi Md. Abdul Hai Ruhed and
ShJi Zahid Ahmed is the (vneral secretary of this cLb. The ex-
pivsident of this club was uazi Sadiqule Haque und general
secretary was Md. Nasir Uddin.
In 1983/84, there was also a sporting club which name
\\as "Gazirpara Nobin Shongho". The chairman/ president of
iliis club was Md. Abdul Basil (Dola Miah) and general
•.irretary was Hafiz Gazi Md. Nizam Uddin. In 1989/90. the
\oung generation also set up another sporting club named
