James McNerney Jr., Hello Mr. McNerney, my name is Ryan Fennessy, and I am writing to you today in order to show off my skillset in order to hopefully get an internship with your company, Boeing Co. I have loved aircraft since I was young and it is a dream of mine to work for your business. Based on my skills I believe I am right for an internship. As shown by my resume since I am currently enrolled at Iowa State University in the subject of mechanical engineering. Since I was young I have had an affinity for both math and sciences along with a fond understanding of both. Along with that I have done what I can in both high school and college to learn a wide range of skills including the basics to 3d modeling, programming and German. Along with that due to my experiences in theater technology classes I have learned many management skills and how to work under pressure. I have also worked in multiple volunteer jobs with my local community. As you can see I have many experiences that I think qualify me for the applied internship position.
