Daniel Kelly
President and Chief Executive Officer, Tellabs
Daniel (Dan) P. Kelly, 51, is president and chief executive officer of Tellabs. Previously, Kelly was executive vice president of global products at Tellabs. He had global responsibility for Tellabs products, including research and development, product line management and product-specific marketing. Prior to this role, Kelly was executive vice president of transport products. He also served as executive vice president of core products at Tellabs. Previously, Kelly held a series of increasingly responsible positions in product engineering and research and development. Kelly has more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He holds Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago. He is a member of Eta Kappa Nu and Beta Gamma Sigma honor societies.
