    Regency Park and Harbor Chase assisted living communities in Vero Beach, Florida hosted a successful food drive over the holidays to benefit the local Harvest Food and Outreach Center charity.     Regency Park & Harbor Chase Assisted Living Communities Hosts Successful Food Drive for the Holidays
    Vero Beach, Fla. This holiday season, Regency Park and Harbor Chase assisted living communities located in Vero Beach, Fla., hosted a successful nonperishable food drive to benefit local charity, Harvest Food and Outreach Center. The drive collected nonperishable food items that will assist families in need over the holiday season.

    Our residents recognize that there are neighbors in our community who are less fortunate and wanted to contribute to the wonderful charity, Harvest Food and Outreach Center, that champions this cause, said Kolette Koch, executive director of life enrichment of Regency Park. Following the drive, Harvest Food and Outreach Centers Annabel Robertson, took the time to visit our community and thanked the residents for their generous contributions during the food drive. In addition to this very successful drive, at our annual Christmas Party, our residents participated in a 50/50 raffle with 50 percent of the proceeds donated to Harvest Food of Vero Beach. We are constantly proud and excited about the charities and events that our FLORIDA ALFA member communities participate in, said Gail Matillio, executive director of FL ALFA. It is

    amazing to see the residents in our communities across the state actively giving back and contributing to the communities they live in, and this food drive hosted by Regency Park and Harbor Chase are great examples of this type of community involvement being put into action. ###
