    Helen woke up early yesterday and drove herself to town where she bought some food and beer while the weather was cloudy. On her drive home the clouds got closer as it started to rain, but she did not hurry or worry. When she arrived home at 11am, she saw a hungry cat waiting at her door that she took in and gave milk to while preparing her own lunch. Later, the rain stopped and Helen and the cat looked out the window at the blue sky and shining sun.

    After finishing breakfast she (get) into the car and (drive) herself to the town. The weather (be) a little cloudy. Helen (not have) a lot of money. She (buy) some food and a few bottles of beer. While she (drive) home the clouds (come) closer and closer. Helen (not hurry). Then it (start) to rain. It (rain) all her way home, but she (not worry). She (come) back home at 11 a.m.. When she (arrive) she (see) a little hungry cat in front of the door. It (stand) and (wait) for somebodys help. Helen (take) it and (give) it some milk. The cat (drink) while Helen (prepare) lunch for herself. In the afternoon the rain (stop). Helen and the cat (stand) by the window and (look) at the blue sky and the sun that (shine) again.
