Government?
Abstract
In this paper the author attempts to point out the two possible
viewpoints on the effect of deliberative policy making to the traditional representative government. Does
deliberation undermine or enhance
the legitimacy of the representative
government? After presenting the
possible viewpoints, the author illustrates her view that deliberative
policymaking when complementing representative government, enhance its legitimacy and makes it
stronger.
