    In partnership with Notre Dame of Maryland University Malaysia: Islam in Asian Context May 27 June 5, 2013 The program aims to provide participants with an increased understanding of Islamic faith and practice, as well as cultural traditions that exist within predominately Muslim societies. Malaysia is a country that is well-known for its religious and cultural diversity and is one of the few countries in Asia that enjoys a strong economy and a unique Federal parliamentary democracy. Participants gain firsthand experiences of the culture, faith and daily activities of Muslims, Christians, Hindus and Buddhists. They visit rich historic sites and interact with professors, students, politicians and religious leaders, while enjoying the beauty, food and warm hospitality. The program abroad is conducted in collaboration with CECF.
