    Narcotics/Vice Squad detectives report the arrest of a Levittown


    man on December 27, 2013 at 10:39 pm in Levittown.
    According to detectives, after receiving complaints regarding
    possible illicit sexual activity, a subsequent investigation ensued
    involving the social websites, Backpage and Craigs List. After setting
    up a meeting, detectives responded to 1 Short Lane where the
    defendant, Joseph Rivera, 26, of the same address, agreed to perform
    a sexual act on an undercover detective for an agreed upon amount of
    money. Rivera was then placed under arrest without incident.
    The defendant is charged with Prostitution and will be arraigned
    in First District Court, Hempstead on 12/28/2013.
