to be well matched = to be similar to Ex: My friend and I are really well matched in our interests. 2. To strike up a relationship = to begin a friendship Ex: I struck up a relationship with Chi when we studied at ACET. 3. A friend in need is a friend indeed : If someone helps you when you are having a problem that means she/he is a true friend 3. morals (n) beliefs about the correct or right way to behave and treat other people Ex: They believe addicts have no morals and cannot be trusted. 4. clear the air: two people talk about a problem they have been avoiding discussing Ex: I hated the way he kept borrowing things without asking me but we had a chat about it and cleared the air so now he knows to check with me first. 5. a shoulder to cry on: someone who listens to your problems It's always good to talk to Hilary, she's so sympathetic.
