Weber and Associates Designs Selected for $100 Million Project


MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 14, 2013/The Minneapolis Downtown Revival Organization/Architecture firm Weber and Associates announce that its design is selected for new $100 million office building in downtown Minneapolis. Weber and Associates are designing a 25-story office building for Kelso Industries. This will be the most expensive contract to date for Kelso Industries, trumping a $50 million project from 2007. The project for the large hardware chain business will cost an expected $100 million. Kelso Industries hired Rudolph and Sletten to construct the building and expected completion time is April 2015. This project is not just of financial significance, however. The building will be the most important contribution to Minneapolis downtown revival efforts. We expect that Kelso Industries new headquarters will be the cornerstone of our downtown revival efforts, says Angela Turner, Director of the Minneapolis Downtown Revival Organization. Weber and Associates did a fantastic job on the design and this unique building will be the envy of many city skylines. Anthony Weber, the owner and head architect of Weber and Associates says, We tried to create a modern architectural statement and yet remain true to the rich history and unique community of downtown Minneapolis.
