    Section 103: Quorum for the meeting

    (1) Minimum members Personally Present

    (a) In case of Public Company (i) 5 members (ii) 15


    members

    (b) In case of Private Company > 1000 < 1000 and > 5000 2 Members

    IF THE TOTAL MEMBER ON THE DATE OF MEETING IS

    (iii) 30

    members

    >5000

    (2) If quorum is not present within -anan- hour then

    (a) Meeting shall Adjourned to The Same day in next week Same time & same place

    (b) If called by requisition u/s 100

    or

    shall stand cancelled

    Such other date, other time & other place as the Board may determine.

    PROVIDED

    In case of adjourned meeting there is

    Change in day

    or

    Change in time

    or

    Change in place

    The Company shall give not less than 3 days notice to members (i.e. 3 days before from the date of meeting) either Individually

    OR

    advertisement

    One English

    and

    one Vernacular language (Circulated where the registered office of the company situated)

    (3) If quorum is not present within -anan- hour at adjourned meeting then the member present shall be be the quorum of Corresponds to section 174 of the 1956 Act. the meeting.
