Knowledge of cloud physics in terms of their formation, movement and seeding. Course Contents: 1. Revision of dry and moist air thermodynamics. 2. Stability in atmosphere. 3. Mixing and convection. 4. Formation and growth of cloud droplets. 5. Atmospheric phenomena accompanying clouds. 6. Methods of cloud seeding. Learning Outcomes: At the completion of the course students should: Comprehend physics and dynamics of clouds. Identify weather phenomena associated with clouds and their effects. Have gained experience in methods and applications of cloud seeding.
