APPLE CRISP PUDDING (Mom) Though this is a pudding recipe, Mom made this in a pie plate so that there

would be more topping than filling. In the past few years (after 200 or so! I"#e added more butter and ha#e also added rolled oats. This latter addition is welcomed by some ($asil!, but deplored by others (%atte and me!. The added butter was $en"s idea and it impro#ed the topping (another case of Mom subtracting e&pensi#e ingredients!. 1. 2. 3. Topping ! "up butter #I now use $ "up butter) % "up brown sugar % "up flour &ptional $ "up rolle' oats In the bottom of a pie plate, melt 2 tblsp butter. Cut up 5 large apples into plate. Sprinkle with 2 tblsp white sugar.
