Dear Parents, I hope that everyone had a joyous Christmas and restful break! Now that the winter weather is here to stay, please remember that we go outside for recess as much as possible. Students need hats, scarves, gloves, snow pants and boots. Even if there isnt much snow on the ground, snow boots keep their feet warm in the cold weather. There have been students who have worn boots, but have forgotten their shoes. Please check their backpacks and make sure that they have shoes to wear when they get to school. I also want to remind everyone of the homework policy for absences. If a student is absent one day, they have one day to do their make-up work, if they are absent two days then they have two days to do their work, etc. That means if their work is not returned on time, it will be a zero in the gradebook. This month, the school will be having a toy sale. The proceeds will go to Catholic Relief Services. Students can bring in any gently used toys or books starting tomorrow. Lastly, the December Pizza Hut reading logs are now due. The January logs are in the red folders. Happy New Year, Mrs. Patsavas
