Lackawanna County Schedules Basketball Clinics

Scranton, PA – The Lackawanna County Commissioners’ 2009 Elementary Boys and Girls
Basketball Clinics for students in fourth, fifth and sixth grades will be held Sept. 28 through Oct.
22 at various locations. Each clinic will run for four straight nights from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The fee
for each clinic is $10. Billy Gibbons, head coach of the Scranton High School Girls Basketball
Team, will head the clinics. Instruction will also be given by local high school and college
coaches.

Clinic locations and dates are: West Scranton High School, Sept. 28 through Oct. 1; Abington
Heights High School, Sept. 28 through Oct. 1; Carbondale Area High School, Oct. 5 through Oct.
8; North Pocono High School, Oct. 5 through Oct. 8; Valley View Intermediate School, Oct. 19
through Oct. 22; and Scranton High School, Oct. 19 through Oct. 22.
