Whats New
This was a great week in Kindergarten! The students continued to practice their Readers Theater, The Little Red Hen. We explored more stories elements by discussing the beginning, middle, and end stories as well as sequencing stories. Next week during reading groups, the students will perform the Readers Theater for the other students in the class. It is going to be a lot of fun! Next weeks theme is, Thanksgiving. We are going to discuss why we celebrate the holiday as well as what we are thankful for. Dont forget this Friday, November 22 is our Thanksgiving Potluck. Please come join us great food and an exciting performance by our Kindergarten and PreK classes. Hope to see you all there at 12:00 in the Great Hall. Please donate $2 by Monday, November 18 for our class complement and pizza party. Our party is on Tuesday. Please return library books by Thursday. No Show and Tell on Friday School wide Thanksgiving Potluck this Friday at 12:00 in the Great Hall. Read with your child for 15 minutes each night. Practice this weeks sight words each night.

Class Event
This coming week we are going to discuss how to eat healthy over the holidays. On Wednesday, we are going to make homemade vegetable soup in class. Please to send in one small bag or one can of your childs favorite vegetables to contribute to our healthy snack.
