Match the situations to tables
The table gives the speeds of 3 dogs in mi/h at given times.
Tell which dog corresponds to each situation below.

A. Bob’s dog chews on a toy, then runs to the backyard, then sits
and barks, and then runs back to the toy and sits.
Dog 2 – The dog’s speed is 0 to start, while he sits and barks, and
when he gets back to the toy. Its positive while he’s running.
B. Sue’s dog runs with her and then chases a cat until Sue calls for
him to come back. The dog returns to her side and sits.
Dog 1 – The dog is running at the start, so his speed is positive. His
speed increases while he chases the cat and then decreases to 0
when he sits.dog sits on top of a pool slide, slides into the pool, and
C. George’s
swims to the ladder. He gets out, shakes and then runs around the
pool.
Dog 3 – The dog’s speed is 0 at the top of the slide, 4 while
swimming, and 12 while he runs around the pool.
