THE ANOINTING DOES NOT REPLACE INTEGRITY

The anointing of God is a precious gift that allows us to flow or move with Gods ability and wisdom for a given moment. It releases the gifts of the Holy Spirit that is evidenced by words of knowledge, the gift of faith, working of miracles etc. All of these things cannot be done through our natural ability. We cannot take any glory for it and cannot boast in it. There is a trend amongst some preachers to assume that they are more anointed than others. Some might go even further and say that they are more anointed than Jesus! The anointing or gift of God seems to take priority over integrity! Because God has seen fit to use them, they assume that their integrity is just a human condition that does not need work. I know that we all have flesh issues and challenges, but the anointing does not replace it. The Bible says first the natural then the spiritual. Just because you carry an anointing does not mean you can treat people badly! Just because you are anointed to heal the sick does not mean that you do not honour your word! Just because you are anointed to prophesy, it does not mean that you can cause division. The definition of integrity; 1. the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles 2. the state of being whole and undivided. The anointing of God that s on your life does not give you permission to bully people, ridicule them, or make them feel small or insignificant. You do not have the right to be controlling or manipulative!

Delete Gods text and place photo here. Do not touch anointed they will say. I dont need to touch you but I can tell you the truth! Im not opposing the gift on your life, but the lack of integrity you fail to walk in. Pastors use this scripture too many times to cover up their shortcomings and their lack of integrity.

We all want more of Gods anointing on our lives and to see the manifestation of His power in our Churches. But be very aware, that it is your integrity that gives you credibility, and opens doors for you, not just the anointing! Blessed to Be a blessing Pastor Tony Sands
