Process Paper The Rights & Responsibilities of The Last Queen Savannah Furbush Junior Division Individual Website
My topic is Cleopatra I chose this topic because the pharaoh, Cleopatra had many rights and responsibilities (the 2013 theme). I also chose this because Cleopatra was a vital historical figure that helped inspire Greek women to fight for equal rights. Another reason I picked Cleopatra as my topic is because she interests me and I already knew a lot about the Egyptian culture. I researched my topic many ways including web searches, reading books, and looking at pictures of Egyptian hieroglyphics translated into English. My main secondary sources were the websites. Most websites I read about Cleopatra were opinion or just not true. This made it a little bit harder to find the truth about her, and what to include on my website. A major misconception I found frequently was thatMy primary sources were pictures of hieroglyphics about Cleopatra translated into English. I selected a website because it is open for people of all ages and cultures around the world can view it. Other people cannot view a board, paper, or skit without you showing it to them. I also chose a website because technology is the future, by the time I am in high school or college written papers my not even be an option. I also learned many things about technology because of this. As goes with learning I learned many things about Cleopatra and her rights and responsibilities. I also learned many myths about her death and even if she didnt exist. Another thing that I learned is that is that Cleopatra was not only a ruler but also a queen, pharaoh, a mother, and a role model. From this I learned that she had many and rights and responsibilities. Cleopatra connects to the theme because she had many rights and responsibilities. My website and research paper explore this deeper.
