Islamabad. Subject: JUDGMENT ORDER DATED 29-11-2013 PSSED BY THE HONOURABLE SUPREME COURT OF PAKISTAN IN SUO MOTO CASE NO.24 OF 2010 (REGARDING CORRUPTION IN HAJJ AFFANGMENTS) CASE FIR No.5/2010 (enquiry No.28/2010) of FIA SIU ISLAMABAD.

Dear Sir, Please refer to your notification No. F.1(1)/HGOs/2013 dated 31-12-2013 on the subject noted supra. In this respect it is respectfully clarified you as under: 1. That no extra amount was charged to any Haji other than announced Hajj packages by our firm. The copy of our Hajj Package broacher is enclosed for your perusal and ready reference. 2. That the amount of Rs.5,000/- as per Hujjaj allocated quota was contributed towards Hajj Compensation Fund (HCF) by our firms own sources. 3. That our firms Financial Statement for the year ended June 30, 2011 confirms the above contention. The copy of the Financial Statement is enclosed for your perusal and ready reference. 4. That the amount of Rs.550,000/- of 110 Hajjis in respect of HCF was deposited well before the receipt of the Hajj Application Forms for the year in question, in compliance of your notification No.1(1)/2010-HP-II/4268 dated 20th July, 2010 Islamabad (copy enclosed). 5. That the payment for Hajj Packages can only be received as and when the application form of Hajj is filled and signed by Hajji and HGO. 6. That the said amount is returnable as and when the HGO wants to get it back or leaves to organizing hajj groups any more. It is, therefore, requested that looking to facts and circumstances adequately explained above the intimation letter supra may kindly be vacated and order to close the proceedings be issued at your earliest possible and oblige.
