Second Grade Computer students are exploring websites.

They are reinforcing math facts using Timed Math Facts, a program found on www.hoodamath.com. I strongly urge them to use this website at home, first to reinforce math facts and then to explore grade appropriate math and logic games. We will also be exploring www.abcya.com, www.googleearth.com, and www.coolmath4kids.com. These and other websites can be found at the bottom of my webpage.

Third Grade Computer students continue developing and reinforcing keyboarding skills on the website www.learning.com. They are enjoying the lessons and are excited with their progress. I am encouraging them to use the website at home to reinforce classroom learning. They all know their username and passwords and should enter alexandria nj in for District. (all lower case)

We continue to recycle laser and inkjet cartridges as well as cell phones. Items can be dropped off at the office or sent directly to Mr. Meyers. All proceeds are used for student activities here at LDW.
