Lowcountry Youth Volunteers

Lowcountry Youth Volunteers is a group of high school students who reach out into the community to make a difference. This will be through various service projects and leadership meetings. Group members are invited to propose service project ideas. We will all work together on these projects and serve the Charleston area. Some organizations we will work with include the Ronald McDonald House of Charleston, The Wings Project, and the Childrens Museum. This will be a fun way to bond with friends, meet new people, and volunteer in your community.

Mission Statement: The goal of Lowcountry Youth Volunteers is to volunteer in the community while influencing peers to do the same.

The Idea of Lowcountry Youth Volunteers: I am currently working on a Senior Project, Learn. Serve. Live. I am connecting with different schools to learn about their community service requirements or opportunities, and I am trying to help more teenagers to become more involved in volunteering. Thus, Lowcountry Youth Volunteers was established.
