Motivation for TreccAfrica Scholarship I would like to apply for Treccafrica Scholarship for the Master's Degree Programme in Environmental Planning and Management at University of Nairobi or Masters Degree programme in Climate and society at Mekelle University. Normally, I was born on 15th December, 1984 in Rwanda. After fulfilling six-year Secondary education, I successfully joined Kigali Institute of Science and technology (KIST). After five years hard study, I became a graduate of Kigali Institute of Science and Technology, holding a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and Environmental Technology, with Upper Second Honors. Currently, I am working at Kigali Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) on the post of Tutorial Assistant in the Department of Construction Management, Faculty of Architecture and Environmental Design (FAED). Before starting this job I have been working for one year at Saint Joseph Integrated Technical College (SJITC) where I was a Tutor in Civil Engineering department. In fact, I would like to continue my education in order to gain better knowledge and vision; but, unfortunately due to lack of sufficient fund from myself and my family I am unable to realize my dreams ; reason why I am applying for this scholarship. This scholarship will then help me to reach different levels in the future such as: development in terms of academic level (masters degree), realizing my dreams of teaching in universities and working in different institutions since I would have gotten the intellectual capacity to do it, and getting to the development I want since the more academic level the more salary, and then I shall be satisfying my needs. Furthermore, after getting qualified, I will try all my best to use knowledge that I would have gained to develop my country, this will be shown by my contribution that I will make in working in different institutions or in teaching in universities where I will try to make different researches relating to development of the country in the field of the course I would have learned in Masters program. In conclusion, TreccAfrica scholarship will help me to realize my Masters studies which will unquestionably help facilitate my future into any organization/university as a result of the intellectual growth I will experience.
