    PLAN AND METHODS

    1. SETTINGS The study was conducted in Ahalia foundation eye hospital, Palakkad. 2 .STUDY DURATION Three months 3. STUDY DESIGN Prospective study of drug utilization pattern in the eye care hospital. Data were collected in specially designed proforma. The proforma consist of the following: Patient demographic details Clinical conditions associated with eye Comorbidities associated with eye conditions Mode of treatment Biochemical parameters 4. PARAMETERS OF STUDY Demography of study population: To know the demographic details (Age, sex, weight etc.) of study population. Mode of treatment: To know route of administration, dose, frequency and duration of drugs utilized in eye care hospital. 5. STUDY SUBJECTS: 100 subjects were included in the study considering inclusion and exclusion criterias.
