Two guns or one ?

SCENARIO You are a police officer engaged in a desperate shootout with a number of gunmen. Just as you run dry two of them jump up and charge your position. What do you do? PROCEDURE Start facing targets pistol in hand and loaded with one roundbehind barricade. Your time will start when you fire the first shot at the start plate. After firing that one shot immediately go to your backup gun for all subsequent shooting. If you miss the start plate with your duty gun the time will continue to run and you must hit it with your backup before going on to other targets. When satisfied that all targets are neutralizedhit second plate to stop clock. Maintain reasonable degree of cover. Second run. Same as first (one round in gun) but do all shooting with duty gun. Fire last shot in handgun at platethen reload. PALADIN SCORE Combine times for final score. NOTES Provide three foot high stand so shooter wont have to drop pistol. Scoring will be Major and Minor as required. Sub-Minor calibers must register head shots only to neutralize targets. Carry any backup gun you wish any way you wish but it MUST be truly concealed.

SCORING Each target must have at least one center hit OR any combination of hits to total seven points. Any number of shots may be fired, at the discretion of the shooter. When satisfied that all targets are neutralized, the clock may be stopped by hitting the stop plate. Any target that does not have at least one center hit or a combination of hits totaling seven points will add a five second penalty to the shooters total time. Each hit on a bystander or hostage target will also count for a five second penalty. TIME ONLY WILL COUNT TO DETERMINE WINNER ALTERNATE SCORING If any target does not have the required point total, the shooter will be declared DEAD at that spot.
