What Were Learning


Reading: We will be comparing different versions of similar stories. Spelling Words: beautiful, either, thought, while, themselves, without, probably, yourself, near, everything Writing: We are learning how to write opinion pieces. They must start with an introduction, state our opinion, have reasons to support it, and a closing to wrap it up. Math: We will finish working on comparing numbers and begin working on telling time to 5 minutes. Social Studies: We are learning about Martin Luther King, Jr. and civil rights.

Classroom News & Reminders *As the weather gets cooler, remember to send your child in with appropriate clothing. If they are not dressed appropriately, they will stay inside for an alternate activity during our recess. They need to be wearing a COAT to go outside when temperatures are cold. *Remember to sign the signature card and send it back in the unsealed envelope. You keep the copy of the report card.
