    RULES
    George says,
    If my signs are the
    same, add and keep

    biggest absolute
    value!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    KCO KEEP IT, CHANGE IT, OPPOSITE
    Keep the first #, change the operation sign, take
    the opposite of the last number.
    THEN FOLLOW YOUR RULES FOR
    ADDITION!!!!
    Examples
    -5 – 7 = ?
    Keep -5
    Change (-) subtraction to (+) addition
    Use the opposite of 7, which is -7.
    Now we have -5 + -7 =
    Signs are the same, so we add and keep the sign.

    -5 + -7 = -12
    Examples
    2 – (-4) =
    Keep 2
    Change (-) to (+)
    Use the opposite of (-4), which is 4

    2+4=6
    So…. 2 – (-4) = 6
