EXAM RULES
PLEASE NOTE:
1. All exams are written in the morning in the classroom designated by your teacher.
Please report to the classroom directly after opening exercises. You will remain in your
room until 11:00 a.m. Please bring a book or other homework in the event that you
finish your exam early. Should you need to temporarily leave the classroom you will be
accompanied by an adult.
2. All communication devices need to be put away and or turned off. This includes cell
phones, tablets/notebooks, MP3 players and IPods. Do not bring these items in the
exam room.
3. Cheating, plagiarism, or unjustified absences will result in an academic penalty reviewed
by the Principal on an individual basis.
4. In the event of an inclement weather/storm day during the exam period, the exam
period will be extended by one day and all exams would be pushed back one day.
5. If senior students are at school during the exam period they are expected to be either
writing an exam or attending study hall in an assigned classroom. Students are free to
leave the school after their exams, provided they have parental/guardian permission.
Please have your Parents/Guardian complete the permission slip at the bottom of this
page. Grade 9-11 students should return this slip to their homeroom teacher by FRIDAY,
JANUARY 17, 2014.

PERMISSION SLIP TO LEAVE AFTER EXAMS
