The ELT/555 (V) 3 is a self-contained self protection ECM pod for supersonic fighter aircraft. Electrical power generation is ensured ! a ra"-air tur ine located on the nose of the pod. #nternal e$uip"ent include fore and aft facing antennas which recei%e pulsed and continuous wa%e signals and trans"it pulsed responses& plus separate fore and aft facing continuous wa%e trans"itter antennas on the undersurface.
