    Layton Funk had expected his spring break to be more eventful but found himself with little human contact for most of the 9 day break. Many of his friends were out of town or too busy to spend time with him. He left his house only around ten times total, mostly just to get food or visit his grandparents once, as only two friends were available to hang out. However, he was at least able to rest and relax during his solitary break.

    Layton Funk 2nd Period

    I had expected Spring Break to be much more eventful, or at the very least, somewhat entertaining. Obviously, it turns out that I am not always right. Not only was one of my best friends going to be in Ireland for the duration of the vacation, but many others would be out of town, too. I would call and call all kinds of people in an attempt to have some type of human contact during the break to no avail. My friends were either too busy or too lazy to spend some time with good ol Layton. I may have left the house a maximum of ten times the entire 9 days. Those times I left were either to get food, go to my grandparents house once, or hang out with the two friends that wanted to interact. At least I had a chance for some rest and relaxation.
