On January 9, 2014, plaintiffs Colbern C. Stuart and California Coalition for Families and Children filed their first amended complaint. [Doc. No. 90.] Plaintiffs name approximately eleven new defendants1 in addition to those named in the original complaint. The record reflects appearance of counsel on behalf of all defendants named in the original complaint, with the exception of defendants Off Duty Officers, Inc., the Administrative Office of the Courts, and Chief Justice Tani G. Cantil-Sakauye. None of the new defendants have yet appeared. To avoid inefficiencies, the court will hold a case management conference before

The new defendants include Stephen Jahr, Michael Groch, Emily Garson, Jan Goldsmith,

1 requiring any defendant to respond to the first amended complaint. Plaintiffs shall 2 promptly file proofs of service after serving each new defendant and shall include a 3 copy of this order with the process served. Counsel appearing for the new defendants 4 shall promptly enter notices of appearance. 5 The court schedules a case management conference for Wednesday, February 6 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Courtroom 4C. No defendant shall answer or otherwise 7 respond to the first amended complaint until further order from the court. See Fed. R. 8 Civ.
