Body System Report Criteria


Each student will be assigned a day where he or she will have the job of presenting a report to the class about a particular body system. Here are the criteria that will be used to mark the presentations: The student: Speaks clearly; Looks up at the audience; Makes a smooth presentation (by preparing and/or practicing his or her presentation beforehand); Presents correct facts about the chosen body system (either the respiratory, digestive, circulatory, skeletal, muscular, or nervous system); Presents information in a logical order: o what the purpose of the system is, followed by o what organs it includes and how it works; Provides information about the following items: o the function (purpose) of the chosen body system, o included organs, parts, and operation (the way that it works) of the system, o ways that the chosen system interacts or works with other body systems, o ways to maintain the health of that system, and o other interesting facts about that body system.
