Hannah Hoch is a German photographer, she was a member of berlins dada movement in the 1920s. She was using pictures that she cut out of magazines for her collages. Many of her pictures showed what society was like at her time. Her pieces all contained females in them, many people say that it was because women didnt seem as important in her time.

David Hockney
Hockney first began to make photo collages in the 1980s , he called them joiners. His first collage was of his mother. His collages all look distorted and cut up. They are of different people, objects etc
