Having had extensive experience with customer service, I would very much appreciate your consideration for this job opening. My experiences at my previous job placements have given me skills ideal for this position. The expectations of possible Chapters employees qualities outlined in the job posting were: enthusiastic people persons, dynamic and committed salespeople, and flexible problem solvers. With regards to enthusiasm, I have been acting since the age of five at Original Kids Theatre Company (OKTC) and just graduated last month after thirteen years of experience. My experience with live theatre has given me confidence around total strangers and the drive to try my absolute hardest to please paying patrons. Additionally, it has given me great conversational skills and interpersonal skills that help me to interact with people. As to being a dynamic worker, I am no stranger to having to think on my feet. In my current position at OKTC in the Box Office (ending at the end of the month) I have dealt with several uncontrollable issues in many different areas, such as ticket sales, where I have had to make quick and effective resolutions while upholding the culture of our organization. This has also greatly helped with my problem-solving skills; balancing having to please the customer and the company you work for in an effective manner is a most difficult thing to learn, but my experience with hundreds of patrons in my time at the Box Office, as well as my training in company culture and values has greatly helped me in this area. As to being committed, as mentioned I have been a part of OKTC for over thirteen years, an organization for whom I have performed, volunteered and worked for; a timely feat that has taken no small amount of discipline and dedication.
