    What is the role an d responsibility of media as a champion of Peace and Reconciliation in this landscape of violence, hatred and sectarian intolerance? What is the basic mandate of media? How can media play a role in promoting peace and NOT intolerance? Asghar Nadeem Syed will be answering these questions and sharing insights on Promoting Peace through Media. He will be addressing the students and faculty of Department of Mass Communication. Dr. Asghar Nadeem Syed is currently Associate Professor and head of TV, Film and Theater (TFT) Department in Beacon House National University. Dr. Syed has done his PHd from Bahauddin Zakaria University, Multan.
