BOOK/ READING REPORT: Monthly reading report 20 000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA PRIDE AND PREJUDICE GULLIVERS

REPORT: What did you understand about the reading? Description of the main characters What is the main problem? Vocabulary learnt: 25 list of the new words learnt through reading

TIMETABLE: Days to present the report, EVERY MONDAY

Students will present one page of reading report (no less), including a presentation with students name, date, title, school and grade. Also, they will attache the 25 words of vocabulary to the report Student will be free of reading as much as they can during the week, as long as they present a complete report.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Biography. In this part, students will have to search for some interesting facts about the author and those who thing are important to understand the book INTRODUCTION: - Students will write a presentation of the book and give general ideas BODY: - Identify: What is the main idea? What are the main characters? - Description of the characters - Analyze: Students will provide an opinion about the main conflict and provide with arguments - VOCAVULARY LEARNT: separated in phrasal verbs, verbs, slang or colloquial language in general CONCLUSION : - Students will give a final opinion and argument that explain whether they agree or disagree with the way the story ends. FINAL PRODUCT: Students will rewrite the book in two pages as a synthesis of what they understood and, by using their own concepts and an appropriate structure of the ideas and language. TIMETABLE: final presentation November 29th NOTE: advances will be presented at the end of every month: August 30 th, September 27th and October 30th HOMEWORK: Weekly report of the advanced reading presented in one page within vocabulary learnt. Monday/Wednesday
