Inc. (CAWASA Inc) is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the position of Executive Director. CAWASA Inc. is a Caribbean institution which promotes the sustainable growth and development of Caribbean Water and Sewerage Utilities through training, networking, research, certification and institutional support. Core Responsibilities: Establish and maintain a productive relationship with local, regional and international institutions. Create and maintain good relationship with the key staff of Member Utilities Manage the process of identifying feasible projects and implementing them Prepare project proposals for submission to funding agencies Prepare business plans and reports for Boards consideration Implement strategies and manage the organization to achieve the targets set Keep in touch with the challenges and issues faced by member utilities and activate appropriate responses Qualifications and Experience: Post-graduate qualifications in Management, with, ideally, a first degree in some aspect of water supply and waste water management At least seven (7) years minimum experience at a senior executive capacity in an engineering oriented organization or a consulting environment Work experience in Caribbean countries Excellent written and communication skills including presentation and reporting skills Excellent interpersonal skills Outstanding leadership, networking and strategic management skills A high degree of computer literacy skills in a range of business application software including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, QuickBooks Previous experience in the operations of a water utility will be an asset Applications with full curriculum details and two (2) references should be addressed to: The President CAWASA/EXD Caribbean Water and Sewerage Association Inc P O Box RB2293 Rodney Bay Gros Islet ST LUCIA And sent by E-mail to: cawasa@candw.lc by 31st January 2014.
