Winter Fundraiser!
For the month of January, the School PTO will be sponsoring a fundraiser to buy more playground equipment. The fundraiser will consist of students selling assorted candy to family and friends! The order form will be given out in class and will be collected along with money at a later date.

Zoo fieldtrip on 1/15/14

Parents, please remember to fill out your students permission form by January 5, 2014. Along with the permission form, please include a contact name and number in case of emergency. Chaperones are still needed also!

P.S- the student who sells the most candy will get an awesome prize, so sell all you can!

Valentines Day Party

Parents, please check your e-mail about our classroom Valentines Day party! We will need some volunteers to help us plan and monitor the party on the selected date. I know its a little early, but we need to start planning now!

Homework Schedule
-Monday: Read your selected library book -Tuesday: Color your S sound packet -Wednesday: Read a book of your choice
-Thursday: Fill in your shapes and numbers worksheets -Friday: No homework!!

Character trait of the week

Students have been learning in class the importance of working together and sharing with others around them. While at home, be on the lookout for certain behavior and if your child does one of these things, check it off and send this newsletter back!

We will be doing a series of show and tell assignments at school on various days. If you see on your students work plan, Show and tell. something they love. This means that they are to bring something they love to show to the class. Our next show and tell day is January 14, 2014.
