We are currently looking for participants in exercise related research at Marywood Universitys Human Physiology Laboratory.

The purpose of this study is to compare traditional exercise programs to 10 Minute Trainer a workout DVD. Participants must be: o Post-menopausal women in good general health o Have a Body Mass Index (BMI) between 25 and 29.9 kg/m 2 o Have access to a DVD player in order to view and follow the exercise sessions Participation includes: o Three 45 minute visits to the lab over a 12 week period o Exercising independently 5 days a week o Completing weekly journals monitoring your progress o Total time commitment will be about 4 hours a week depending on exercise group assigned Participants will undergo: o Body composition measurements including girth measurements o Two DEXA Scans for body composition and bone density

Participants in this study will receive body composition testing with professional interpretation of their results at the conclusion of the study. This may help the participants to optimize their exercise program. All participants will also receive a free exercise DVD to keep. Participants will also have the chance to be part of a novel research study that will add to the knowledge about exercise in postmenopausal women. Financial compensation is available for qualified participants.
