Participation Guidelines
Summer Youth Track Program

2014
Thank you for joining our program, we are sure it will be fun for all Here are some rules of the road to remember and please follow.

Parents PLEASE let administration and coaches know of any medical/behavior issues with your children so we can plan for staffing accordingly. Go to the bathroom before you arrive. Bathrooms will be available. Wear appropriate running clothes and shoes. Please be early or on time 5:45 PM, ready to participate, coming late disrupts the group. Bring only water to sessions. SPORTS DRINKS are NOT allowed on the turf fields. Children going into 5th grade and younger MUST be chaperoned by a responsible adult on the premises. Parents of the Guppies, Minnows, Addias, and Asics groups are encouraged to participate for the last 15 minutes of the session. All children not in the program must be attended by an adult and off the track. Strollers are not allowed on the track at any time as per Somers Central School District requirements. Please have a note from a parent if you are picking up another child and give to the respective group coach. The sessions will be held rain or shine. No session during lightning/thunder. Use your best judgement. Cancellations will be on WHUD by 5 PM. This program is run solely by volunteers please support your coaches and their assistants. Info on the summer Twilight Track Series held Tuesday nights is at the registration table.

Have your child clean up all cups, garbage, etc. from the track and infield before leaving. What YOU bring in is what YOU take out. Recycle please in the blue bins. Parents walking or jogging must use the outside 2 lanes only. Children and coaches have right of way. Volunteers are always needed see administration if you are interested. Single guest session participants are welcome cost $10.00/session. T shirt not included. Adult must fill out registration form each session. Wrist bands must be worn EVERY session until it is complete and your child leaves. No dogs allowed as per Somers School District and Department Of Health.
