LESSON PROCEDURE

In the classroom, the facilitator will paste a few pictures which involve verbs of the students daily routine. The students will be divided in six groups which is five students per group to get a smaller target of group. The activity starts with the facilitator showing pictures and demonstrating the verb in class. She repeats a few times until the students understand. Then she will ask the students to follow her action while she says aloud the verb. She will repeat them a few times so that the students can memorise the actions and verb well. This will give them a better understanding about the function and usage of the verb. The verbs : Wake up Take breakfast Go to school Come back home from school Help mom clean the dishes Go out and gardening (?)

Later, the facilitator will not show the gesture of the verb but only saying aloud the verb to see whether the student still can remember the verbs and actions. The facilitator will say aloud the verb a few times. If the students still cannot follow or remember the one of the actions or verbs, the facilitator needs to repeat the verb and gesture three or four times. Then test them again without showing the gesture, only saying the verbs. Next, in the six small groups, the facilitator will ask the students to go to the pictures which has been pasted on the wall around them according to groups and picture. For example, Group 1 will go to Wake up picture; then Group 2 Gardening etc. (will repeat a few times) After that, they will be given sheets according to groups. They will need to tick the correct pictures while listening to the verb from the facilitator. (assessment)
