I have been invited to a meeting with our CO on 24 May and then the CMP on the morning of 25 May down in Ottawa (National Library and Archives Building); it is a townhall type meeting with the CMP which will focus on transitional support (towards civilian life) to injured CF personnel. I have asked permission to pose a question to the CMP from my chain-of-command, but have yet to be granted authority - but such is the way of military life. Should I be permitted to raise one question it will be to have the CMP explain the philosophy behind the JPSU taking in an unlimited number of injured people with no mechanism to increase support staff and how it is survivable for the Unit. Should a private meeting with Mr Alexander be of any assistance to clarify of the situation, or be of assistance in any way, I would be very pleased for all of us to meet. Regards... Barry
